Indigenous education and health are two key research areas at the Queensland University of Technology.

The Faculty of Health has ongoing projects, which include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Care and the School and Community Based Road Safety.

The Faculty of Education conducts research in Indigenous Education, student action research (SARUA) and Indigenous Capacity Building.

The Indigenous Education Leadership Institute, which is located within the Faculty of Education, undertakes research as part of its teacher and community leadership program.

The Office of Research within the Division of Research and Commercialisation supports and stimulates the development of the university’s profile through the provision of expert advice and assistance to researchers.
